Decorative convex mirrors are an option for wall decor in residential and commercial interiors. People enjoy the visually fascinating. Convex mirrors are inclusive bringing all into their reflection. They are warmer than the stark two dimensional flat mirror. Of course a flat mirror is practical, a convex mirror on the other hand is fun.
Fun but not funhouse – Reflecting Design’s convex mirrors are geometrically perfect and distortion free. They reflect a 145 degree panorama in perfect symmetry. Objects are rendered smaller and slimmer as a function of the outward curve. This means the experience is not upsetting and one is not put off-balance.
Conceptually the idea is not to disorient the viewer but captivate them in a novel experience of the setting. Convex mirrors capture the entire room, complementing the style and design of architect and designer alike.
A spec sheet of the complete line is available on the Resources page – click this ‘Specs Pdf’ link.
Since our mirror frames are circlular mirror frames it is not possible to change the size as done with mitered square mirror frames. Therefore the Lola 46 convex mirror is not available as a Lola 40.
Please remember the transitional mirror finishes are hand painted, consequently slight variations occur in the result.
